Description

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) have announced a massive recruitment drive for the year 2025. This notification invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for various Group A, B, & C Teaching and Non-Teaching posts. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the recruitment process on behalf of KVS and NVS. Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India.

Eligibility Criteria

- **Nationality:** Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- **Educational Qualification:** Varies by post. Principal 227 (KVS:134, NVS:93)

Master's Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed. Must be working as Principal/Vice-Principal/PGT in a government institution as per specified pay levels.

Vice Principal - KVS 58

Master's Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed. Must be working as Vice Principal/PGT in a government institution as per specified pay levels.

Assistant Commissioner 17 (KVS:08, NVS:09)

Master's Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed. Must be working as Principal in Level-12 for at least 3 years.

Recruitment Details

Application Fee
- For Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Vice Principal: ₹2300/- - For PGT, TGT, PRT, and other Group B posts: ₹1500/- - For Group C posts (e.g., Junior Secretariat Assistant, Stenographer): ₹1200/- - Processing Fee (for all candidates): ₹500/- - No examination fee for SC/ST/PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates. However, the processing fee of ₹500/- is applicable to all.
Age Limit
- Assistant Commissioner (KVS): Max 50 years - Assistant Commissioner (NVS): Max 45 years - Principal: Min 35, Max 50 years - Vice Principal: Min 35, Max 45 years - PGT: Max 40 years - TGT: Max 35 years - PRT: Max 30 years - Non-Teaching Posts: Varies (typically between 27 to 45 years) Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and other categories.
Mode of Selection

The selection process will involve multiple stages:

1. **Tier-I:** A computer-based preliminary (screening) examination of 100 marks. It will include questions on General Reasoning, Numeric Ability, Basic Computer Literacy, General Knowledge, and Language Competency (English & one Modern Indian Language). There will be negative marking.

2. **Tier-II:** A subject-specific examination for each post, comprising 60 objective questions (60 marks) and 10 descriptive questions (40 marks).

3. **Final Stage:**
- **Interview:** For posts like Assistant Commissioner, Principal, PGT, TGT, etc. (85% weightage to Tier-II and 15% to Interview).
- **Skill Test:** For posts like Stenographer and Junior Secretariat Assistant (qualifying in nature).
- **No Interview/Skill Test:** For posts like Assistant Section Officer and Lab Attendant (selection based on Tier-II marks only).
